The project entitled Artistic Bank of Experimental Knowledge, organized by Paulo Licona, María Adelaida Samper and Gabriel Zea (Colombia), created a symbolic production environment where the public had the opportunity to interact at different workstations, such as Printing, Transparent Bank of Tangible Advice, Exchange Desk, Boardroom and Media Center.
In this first workstation, a numbered transaction paper will be distributed for bartering or exchange. The participants will determine the content of the image, text and other elements for use in the subsequent exchange of knowledge, objects and productions of the participants.
This workstation has a team of mediators who will stimulate the production and materialization of the public's ideas. The main objective is to speak with the participants in order to find a symbolic value of the product that is produce
This is the place where artists or producers interrelate with one another to exchange their products. Bartering can take place in different ways, depending on the symbolic value and the collector's initiative, in which values can take on a more global consensus versus the value at art fairs and other places
In this space, participants can assemble their products with the help of mediators. It is also a place for discussing and learning about curatorship, museography and museology.
This workstation will collect the daily information of the transactions, such as appraisals and comments. It will be shown in two ways: first, in a “duomo of values” and second, in a newspaper that will be edited daily by the attendees of the fair.
