Elena López and Luis Ospina’s films stand between the lines of observational documentaries, film essays and film portraits. The discussion explores how certain techniques and certain decisions on montage and editing destabilize the language of images, lying at the frontier of contemporary art, video installation and film language. 15 YEARS ACTIVATING THE ART SCENE
This panel gathers cultural agents and artists working from the public and private sectors, as well as from different regions of the country, that have actively contributed to dynamize the visual arts scene, the circulation of Colombian artists and have brought new audiences closer to contemporary art. A role that has transcended particular institutions and has made an impact on regional and national policies.

This talk reflects on how art and architecture are connected from the perspective of museums and the role they play in cities. Given the growing need for new spaces for comprehension, museums have become key settings for preserving universal values and local visions of the world, as well as places for social and aesthetic negotiations.
