Curator Emiliano Valdés presented Thoughts Become Things, an artistic exhibition that inquired on art as a vehicle for metaphysical, formal and poetic exploration, and included 14 projects with a strong formal orientation from galleries from around the world. The artists in this section favor observation, slowness and craftsmanship as ways of interaction with the world, and for thought, intuition and poetry as tools to deal with it. The exhibition established a technical question about art and its capacity to generate a certain knowledge that, often, cannot be expressed in words or concepts, but in exchange exploits form and matter to transmit ideas that have no other way of being. They are practices in which, through observation, reflection and doing, thoughts become things.
