Queer Mythologies

Inti Guerrero talks about queer mythologies in Asia and focuses on Alfonso Ossorio's mural church painting The Angry Christ and the performance practice of Filipino dancer Josh Serafin, who is making a work on pre-colonial belief systems of Negros islands in the Philippines.

Inti Guerrero is an art critic and curator based in Hong Kong. Until recently he was Associate Artistic Director of TEOR/éTica. Guerrero has curated exhibitions for Tate Modern, Museum of Art of Rio, Para Site, TheCube, Project Space, ARKO art centre, Kadist, and Bergen Assembly. His writings have appeared in Afterall, ArtNexus, Metropolis M, Nero, Manifesta Journal, and Ramona, among other publications and exhibition catalogues.

He's also the curator of Proyectos, a section of ARTBO | International Art Fair of Bogota, 2022.
