What is the code of conduct and ethics of collecting in contemporary art? What are its basic premises and why is it necessary? Patronage? New philanthropy?

If we understand art as a sector of public interest, the collector is not an isolated actor in the art ecosystem, is part of a complex relational gear that is not always verified in the ethics of its practices, as are other public sectors, such as education or health. How to verify these relationships between actors, to develop healthy dynamics of long-term collaboration?
