Después (Afterwards). This is the name of the curatorship of Artecámara 2022, in which Alejandro Martín wonders: What are we coming back to? How has everything we have lived through these years changed us? And how has it disrupted our way of being in the world? After experiencing two radical ways of pause, the pandemic and the recent protest, we are obliged to rethink the life we were leading. The participating artists point out different paths of transformation, ranging from a sensitive reflection on the memory of the conflict and all those futures that have been cut short, to a radical transformation of the way we understand ourselves as animals and as part of an environment that we have refused to listen to.
