Salón Comunal presents, or the return of Artbo in its face-to-face format, a proposal that emphasizes spatial sensitivity, the poetics of space, inhabiting a place and three-dimensional objects in relation to the stand. Iconic works by the teacher Edelmira Boller, from different periods of her career, will be presented; ceramic sculptures by the teacher Cecilia Ordoñez; paintings by Mateo Cohen, drawings by Beatriz Eugenia Díaz and painting, sculpture and jewelry by Bernardo Montoya. The stand will rotate for each day of the fair, offering the public a wide range of each of these artists. There are works that will hang from the ceiling, others will emerge from the serum, and from the walls, as an installation for a specific space, enhancing the confluences and tensions between the artists and their works.
Salón Comunal was conceived in 2013 in Bogotá by Colombian artists who imagined a gallery that could exist in a family home in a traditional neighborhood.
Since its inception, the gallery seeks to contribute to the circulation, exhibition, production, training and commercialization of contemporary art. The project started pointing the lack of institutional support for emerging artists in Colombia.
Thanks to an uninterrupted programming, there have been more than 90 exhibitions that have had the participation of renowned artists such as Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar, Antonio Caro, Beatriz Eugenia Díaz, Juan Mejía, Cecilia Ordóñez, Lucas Ospina, Carol Young, Gabriel Silva. The gallery represents Edelmira Boller, Mario Opazo, Mateo Cohen, Felipe Gonzales, Nestor Gutierrez, Cecilia Ordoñez, Beatriz Eugenia Díaz and Bernardo Montoya.

Until then, her approach to the production of works of art came from the two-dimensional. Since then her plastic research has focused on sculpture. Her work was incorporated in 2000 - to the collections of the Museums of Modern Art, Sindelfingen, Germany Naben, Kirchheim Teck, Germany. She obtained an honorable mention at the XXXII Annual Colombian Artists Salon, 1989 and at the III Tunja Regional Visual Arts Salon, 1980. Lives and works in Bogotá
