As an exhibition in the main room there will be the installation LOS PADRES AUSENTES that the artist Carlos Castro will make, alluding to the recent vandalizations against the monuments that represent the memory of our history, with which it is intended to reconfigure the values and recognition that is conferred on them. This recently worsening social malaise in our environment had already been sensed and worked on by the artist, which motivated his desire to specify the proposal that we will see in the aforementioned installation. In the small room, some works will be presented alluding to the feeling resulting from the pandemic, such as the proximity of death, the pain of isolation and the discomfort due to the uncertainty about the future.

His plastic work consists of projects that combine different media such as painting, video, objects and installation, which in turn allows working on specific topics from dissimilar perspectives. Through of the appropriation and recontextualization of images and objects, Castro explores narratives that include elements that have been ignored or suppressed in the historical account. Thus, his work focuses on examining how certain icons and traditionally accepted notions are redefined in contemporary life, when they encounter the supposedly unwanted or unrecognized sides, that is, the point at which it considered "established" and the "clandestine" meet.
