The exhibition 'Alias, los otros nombres' puts forward some reflections on the social, political, and cultural conditions that shape access to opportunities and the possible notions of equity within a context like the conflict in Colombia. Camilo Restrepo, through reflection and a critical examination of our country's history, suggests recognizing collective trauma and personal trauma as tools for addressing reflections on violence. His work plays with drawing that borders on the childish and with the various layers of material, exposing it, tearing it, transgressing it; turning this exhibition into an experience that, through the fragmentation and suspension of the artwork itself, engages the viewer directly This installation consists of a total of 503 drawings, newspaper clippings, sketchbooks, and a schedule of appearances of various aliases belonging to armed groups in the country (Guerrilla, paramilitaries, common criminals, among others). These images and other pieces allow for a comprehensive understanding of the extensive research and creative work carried out by the artist.
