Giuliana Racco aims to create a dialogue that transcends geographic borders, addressing universal issues of migration and challenging dominant narratives.
"High Roads" explores the practices of four women who use their bodies, their breath and their minds as tools of resistance against military occupation. Filmed between Palestine and Barcelona, the video dialogues with the physicist Dr. Wafaa Khater, the Olympic swimmer Sabine Hazboun, the marathon runner Diala Isid and the yoga instructor Eilda Zaghmout, women who generate a sense of well-being and wonder, challenging oppression and inspiring action. “High Roads” invites viewers to witness active practices of SUMUD (Arabic for steadfastness), encouraging reflection on the complexities of resistance in the midst of adversity.

El programa curatorial de la sala de exhibición explora la interacción de diversas prácticas artísticas: plásticas, visuales, performance, spoken words, de artistas colombianos e internacionales.

Her diverse artwork embraces participatory projects, videos, publications, draws and texts. She has participated in residencies and investigation programs in different countries, such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, Croatia, Luxembourg, Palestine, Israel and colombia. The artistic work of Giuliana has been introduced at renowned institutions such as Suñol Foundation and Arts Santa Monica in Barcelona, The Modern and contemporary art of Rijeka, the Winterthur Fotomuseum in Switzerland and the Modern and Contemporary Art Museum of Strasbourg, among others. The main roles of her career have allowed her to work as associate professor at the postgraduate program of visual arts of the Luav University of Venice, the coordination of Czech and Slovak pavilion at the Venezia Biennale 2008 to 2011 and as Creative Director at Encuentros para Juntos Aparte program, BIENALSUR in 2017.
