For this edition of ARTBO | Fin de semana, Proyecto Binario opens its doors to "Universe," an intention to circulate and visibility projects that comprehensively address the development and construction of their DNA. In this first version, we invite DIANTRES, a design studio created 10 years ago in Bogotá. Founded by Santiago Méndez and Guillermo García, Visual Artists from Javeriana University. The project emerged as a platform to materialize graphic processes with which they have built a creative community around the idea and technique. This has allowed them to collaborate with artists such as Gavilan, Diana Paz, Saga Uno, Carlos Bez, Natalia Castro, among others, enriching and expanding the visual and aesthetic universe of the project, achieving a variety of products from posters to clothing, putting serigraphy as the main technique in their creations.
In their intentions to share the technique, DIANTRES has consolidated the experience of bringing the public closer to the materiality of the technique and the possibilities of its result by taking the workshop and its implements. Thus, during the FDS, the space will host an exhibition that shows the aesthetic and poetic universe of this collective, which, through different techniques, collaborations, and products, expands the possibilities that graphics have inside different fields of design. A journey through their 10 years of trajectory and an approach to their ways of creating, working, linking, and remaining in the field.
