The 9-11 was broadcast in real time, and in almost every home in the world where there was a television, the images of haze were present, we could also put as a recent example the fires that took over part of the eastern hills of Bogotá.
Although these media situations had as a sign the haze in their narrative, in some of the illustrations of this work, the haze turns out as a connecting pretext, as a coincidence that approximates the common stories presented here: Routines, desires, conscious and unconscious operative acts that end up wrapped in fantastic binomials that include animals, machinery, buildings, objects, and other elements of human character metaphorised with the intention of building a bestiary.
The ideas presented in the drawings of this exhibition were born in the heart of the pandemic, at which time the workshop had to be mobilized, moved from city and somehow condemned to not be in a totally stable place, hence to resume the small and medium format, as well as graphite pencils and some portable crankcase tools responded to the same emergency that the haze points out.
